Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, growing up whenever it was a religious holiday (like today) or just a religious function, a type of halwa will be there. There are many types of halwa, this is my recipe for a low-carb take on this dish.

  6. 1 tsp nutmeg

  7. 1 tsp cinnamon

  8. 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Heat wok

  2. Add ghee, let melt

  3. Add flour

  4. Stir until golden brown

  5. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract

  6. Stir until everything is mixed in

  7. Add milk

  8. Keep stirring until thickens
